BT Young Scientist 2020
This year Mount Saint Michael will have four projects at the BT young scientist in the RDS Dublin.
The exhibition will take place from the 8th to the 11th January 2020.

Project Title: A More Efficient Energy Transfer Medium, Fibre Optic Cables
Alyssa will investigate the effectiveness of transferring energy as light impulses over distance.

Darragh Nagle and Oisin O Sullivan
Project Title: Dispelling the Plague of Fake News Effortlessly.
Darragh and Oisin will investigate how to compile and disseminate public information more effectively.

Katie-May Cole-Mariotti, Áine O Sullivan, Tara Keating.
Project Title: Hail, Rain Or Shine? How Does This Leave Our Beaches.
The effect of single weather events on the rate of sand deposition and erosion on our beaches.

“The Relationship between Perceived Stress and Diet in Second Level School Pupils: Is a good diet associated with low perceived stress?
The effect healthy diet may have on alleviating or preventing perceived stress levels.

All the students have been developing their projects and their research over the past 10 weeks and longer.
